GUITAR MANIA!!!

To start with the post lemme tell ya all i am a hardcore Music Lover..I am A music Maniac.yeah yeah i know every second person says so.who doesn't like music..Music really helps me breathe easy when i am not doing good..!!

Anyhow this post of mine is dedicated to the beautiful instrument of mine ..Ahhh I love it..Guitar is really a cool instrument to play..I wish i could play it well. just love each and every sound it creates.... i can tell hundreds of benefits of being a guitarist.some of them are:
1. It helps increase self esteem and self confidence.
2. Playing guitar also instills a sense of discipline.
3. Playing the guitar is also a great way to relax and unwind after a tough day.
and the most important of them all
4. Impressing Gals is a cake walk for a person knowing guitar..Gals just love it !! ;)


So this post was indirectly for all those poor chaps who feel that gals don't "CHECK THEM OUT":p..
Just Buy a new guitar and start learning today..:P!!

GO get it ..i bet It AIN'T a Miss

Possible or not?

Starting the day with exercise is real fun..and burning out those extra calories can sometimes be very painful !!
Gym has become some kind of necessity in urban people's life. Being an "uRban hopeless Crap" I start the day with Gyming and flexing my muscles with all those dumbles and benchpresses..
Today only i was kinda training in the Gym and just then current went off..It was not that extra special thing that happens..we ppl are used to it..

Just then i saw a person using the mechanical treadmill and just next to him there was a person paddling the exercycle.Just got a crazy idea then..

Can that energy be used in making electricity?? I guess i read it somewhere in my physics textbook.." energy can be transformed from one type to another type" !!
So can the mechanical energy of the ppl burning out those calories be converted somehow into some usable form ..??I am not thinking Big.. may be it can fulfill the power requirements of the Gym,,

A wednesday -----> A must watch

I m not a movie buff..neither do i like our so called Hindi movies much(here i mean those romantic melodramatic crap) but there is some good stuff being created too...Recently i saw "A Wednesday" and i must say it was one of the best Hindi movies i have ever seen..just loved the work of the great man Mr. Naseeruddin Shah ..Hats of to him really.

The thought is very similar to my thinking of handling terrorism..i along with my friends have discussed the solution the same way as was depicted in the movie..Just loved the way all the things have been done in the movie..The dialog delivery,those inspiring words,those expressive eyes..man i just love it !!

If anyone has decided to spoil his/her weekend by watching any Masala pic..My advice to them:

"Your money is precious ..Save it.. Better donate .. "

Definitely one of the best of the year !!

I was kinda trying to update my resume the other night..but was unable to find anything worth adding..!! :-(..If i would have submitted this very resume when i passed 12th it would have been same...DITTO!!! :-(
Dun knw what have i done all these years of my engineering...!! :-'(..I know just two langs c/c++ and i cant say that i am perfect in them too ..i was knowing them before my engg days too..HUh...wasted everything !!

4 days after 9/11

I am writing this post with a heavy heart
I hate terrorism.. :-(. dun know wass with these people ..What do they get by killing innocent people and ruining so many lives.
I was completely shattered when i heard of the bomb blasts in Delhi ..Man it was scaring .. Thinking about the places where i have spent so much time with my friends, got along with so many strangers and had so much fun ..and the next moment hearing that the same place has fallen a prey to the evilminds of these terrorists is vey painful..

What the heck is our Govt doing about it..Its busy in making those crammed statements after the blasts have occured.I sometimes really feel worried about the state of our country..!! iTs in no man's Land !!

On the day of the blast i was in delhi ..and was about to leave for Connaught place only..just then out of my laziness or something i cancelled the programme at the last moment..This moment i felt so proud of myself being a sloth..But at the same time i feel so helpless..

I feels as if we INDIANS are born to DIE in a bomb blast that could occur anytime..Our life is in the hands of terrorists..they may take it whenever they feel like..ARE THEY GOD ?? Coz only God has the right to take one's life ..!!
Dont know what else to say..
For those who fell a victim to yet another game of politics,extremism,irresponsiblity... may their souls rest in peace..

A Dejected Soul

A tryst With Strangers

The day starts with "ANKUR"( dats me 8-)) waking up at 5:00( man i have achieved something :P).I had a reason behind compromising with my sleep. I had to go to ALWAR(Rajasthan) for some important work there..The journey was of around 7 hours( by bus) and it was full of new experiences ..I thought i should share some of them..

1. Boarded the bus for gurgaon and couldn't find seat for 45 mins..atlast seeing my pain the Conductor offered me a seat beside him..though the seat was for only one person but we managed to fit in to it..For the sake of passing time i was reading an English magazine "TEHELKA". Its like one of the very complicated and difficult to understand kinda magazines i have ever read..(at least i find it diff. to understand all those articles).I was reading some article on INO -Us nuke deal.and the conductor was watching me read that..He suddenly grabbed it from me and started scrolling through the pages..HE started like "So, you into politics??"

I was like " hmmm...Not much ..i just read for the sake of Some general knowledge" and then he started speaking like some bullet train and didn't stop until some bus stop came ..He was actually not talking vague things.He was all the time discussing about the deal and all the arguments related to it..he was talking logically..and also told me that he dearly follows MR .tejpal..(the chief editor of Tehelka)..i asked him about his qualifications.He told me that he has passed 12th..I was quite amazed..a haryanvi jatt having passed only 12th reads Articles of Mr. Tejpal and understands helluva difficuilt articles and can convince an engineer...well I was impressed...

He asked me about my qualifications . i told him i am doing engg..He immediately asked me a question .." HOW many soft wares have you made"?? i had no answer to it..coz i havent made any.. !!

I felt ashamed and just said i am working on it..!! he then started testing me with my knowledge about comps..at that tym i thought man he is getting hyper.but i was kinda njoying it..coz it was like some test for me.. I answered almost his queries ..But i was stunned with the knowledge he possessed about comps... He said he studies it for FUn..It was quite inspring talking to him and he filled me with a lot of enthusiasm for sure..!!!


2. On my way back to home i had to board a BLueline Bus to go tomain ISBT in Delhi..On my way back from ALWAR to DELHI i met an air force officer in the bus..he was a personality..He had a great passion for sports..He told me how he lost both his legs and owing to his dedication and commitment to sports he is the coach of the volley ball team in his contingent..he had words of Iron and personality of steel..he was going to kurukshetra i.e about 30mins from my city. so we had to go board the same Blueline bus..

I was sitting with a boy around 21-22 who had dark complexion .He was nicely dressed and was discussing with me how his destiny(Fate) helped him from the bomb blasts that occurred just few minutes ago..he seemed very outgoing and experienced kinda fella..juss then i saw that he was having a knife tucked b/w the belt and the trouser .I asked him why was he keeping it" He said i carry huge payments all the day so for safety purpose i keep it..." I was like .." OK kool.Fair enough.."

The bus was crowded and suddenly breaking the conversation he stood up and just pushed some people in front of him I dint get him at that tym.. the Airforce officer was standing right in front of him.As the bus stopped he ran away like anything...Didn't understand anything ...jus then when the airforce person checked his pocket to take out money for ticket he realized it was picked... It was clear that the pocket was cut by the knife.. The whole picture was clear..I was sitting beside a pick pocket ..i didnt know how to react that time...i chekcked my pocket immediately and found my wallet in place...Gosh i was relieved.. !!

So a meeting with the pickpocket and the "Knowledgeable Jatt" were one of few experiences i had...have more of them too but seems the posts is getting much longer !!

Chrome O chrome

Its been a long time now since i have posted anything on my blog..the thing is i was kinda busy with my project( which is still pending...coz i am stuck :-( ).and also here in haryana there is acute electricity shortage so we get only 6-8 hours of electricity a day...'eh..thats sad..!!
Leavng aside all those uninteresting things...i had a urge to post something on the new BROWSER chrome..though its been some days since it was launched..but its never too late to comment on something...
Well so it all starts from my college Library where i was reading some nwspaper and there i read that google has launched CHROME...i was like kool man...the battles of browsers has started..i came home directly to download the GOOGLE BROWSER ..(yeah yeah i missed all my lectures) On my way back i was thinking what could chrome possibly mean.. Applying engineering logics(hit and trial) which i have very well learnt these years..i thought it could be something related to CHROMIUM may be..chrome...chromium ...sounds simillar!! I later found out it is a synonym of "improving".. i was like ...great an open source always welcomes improvement.

May be this was the last exciting moment of my experience with the chrome..i found the link to downlaod it on google .com, downloaded it..!! I opened the browser and had very strange and disappointing kinda expressions on my face..i was clearly not impressed with the interface..i thought i should open some website ..typed a wrong address in the address bar..when i realised it.. i was looking for the STOP button ..couldn't find it..(may be i m used to FIREFOX AND IE placemnts or wateva)...that was irritating..!!
tried again and this tym wrote a valid URL ..nothing opened..tried again...It hung...!! tried the third tym ..site opened but the response time was slow as compared to firefox..!!then i types some random words in the address bar..i found out that the google search engine opened and it began to show the results concerning the letters i typed..though it was something new but i thought this was not whati wanted..i wanted the browser to show "this page does not exist kinda thing"..and not find the data on search engine.. !!( may be i was overreacting owing to the irritating attempts i made earlier).then i found out it had some security issues too..
so all in all... it was kinda avg..keeping in mind GOOGLE TAG it had with it.
uninstalled it that day only... but i am waiting for the beta+ version...i know it will be better!!
I am so happy with mozilla!! It rocks for sure
